The Medical-records and Health Information Technicians are expected to be the fastest growing jobs of all those listed. The reasons for this can range from moving more records to the digital era along with stimulus money to get records cleaned up and easily manageable. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) mentions this occupation as one predicted to grow much faster than average, and it expects good job prospects for credentialed candidates.

HVAC Technicians are always in need. If you live in a hotter or colder than average areas, these positions are likely to be in greater demand. You will find that most restaurants, hospitals, and homes all have HVAC systems needing new installation or repairs. This trend will continue although most HVAC companies require you to have the training required to start the job. These trainings can be between six months up to two years depending on the individual program.

We all have heard the commercials on the TV and the radio for the next growing position. However, this stands true when it comes to Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS). A number of different educational programs can give you the tools needed to start in this broad field. Courses are typically offered in person but it’s becoming more and more popular to attend these classes online. Whether you have previous experience or not, this field will be gaining momentum moving forward as you will have the ability to move into different specialties such as Visual Studio, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, etc. Employers know that when you are Microsoft Certified, you will have a certain level of knowledge of the tools required and expertise in that field. Many move from these certifications to obtaining professional certifications and additionally, bachelor degrees.
